And especially now, when

- cd -b <tab> shows bookmarks (set by %bookmark command)

- cd -<tab> Shows directory history entries - now directory history is
actually useful and intuitive. It doesn't work when there is only one
entry in directory history, so %cd around a little but before trying
it.
