[IPython-user] PDB working with Python 2.5?

I am using the following versions of Python and IPython on Windows XP SP2 -

Python 2.5 (r25:51908, Sep 19 2006, 09:52:17) [MSC v.1310 32 bit (Intel)]
Type "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.

IPython 0.7.2 -- An enhanced Interactive Python.

 If I break into pdb and then try to execute any command I get the
following:

*** ERROR ***
This version of pdb has a bug and crashed.
Returning to IPython...

Does IPython work with Python 2.5, do I need a patch?
