And incidentally, it's not "new" - IIRC it's been around since 1.7.3
(though I didn't check). The problem is that the bundled manual has
not been updated in ages. With the impending move to reST manual
format, we should soon be in much better place as far as the bundled
documentation goes. The ipython wiki homepage, not the bundled manual
should be considered the authoritative documentation.
